Anger

Anger disorders, also known as intermittent explosive disorder (IED), involve recurrent, problematic outbursts of anger that are disproportionate to the situation. Individuals with this disorder may struggle to control their anger, leading to aggressive behaviors, verbal or physical outbursts, and may experience feelings of guilt or remorse afterward. 

Stress Management

Stress management refers to a set of techniques and strategies aimed at controlling and reducing the impact of stress on a person's physical and mental well-being. Stress is a natural response to challenging situations, but prolonged or excessive stress can have negative effects on health.

Effective stress management involves recognizing the sources of stress, understanding one's reactions to stress, and implementing coping mechanisms to mitigate its impact.

Anxiety Disorder

A mental health condition characterized by excessive and persistent worry, fear, or anxiety that significantly interferes with a person's daily life. It goes beyond the normal stress and anxiety that people may experience in certain situations. Anxiety disorders can manifest in various forms, including generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, specific phobias, and others.

Depression

Is characterized by persistent feelings of sadness, hopelessness, and a lack of interest or pleasure in daily activities. It goes beyond the normal fluctuations in mood that people experience and can significantly impact one's thoughts, emotions, and physical well-being.

Substance Use

An individual's use of substances such as alcohol or drugs leads to clinically significant impairment or distress. This disorder encompasses a range of problematic patterns of substance use that can lead to addiction or dependence. It is characterized by symptoms such as cravings, tolerance, withdrawal, and continued use despite negative consequences.

Trauma

Is a direct result of exposure to a traumatic event. Trauma disorders can manifest in various ways and are often characterized by symptoms such as intrusive memories, nightmares, flashbacks, emotional numbness, and heightened anxiety. There are different types of trauma disorders; Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Acute Stress Disorder (ASD), Military Sexual Trauma (MST), and Adjustment Disorders.
